I can hardly believe that we are nearly upon the launch of the 2010 Autumn & Winter Collection at kristaupher. It seems not that long ago when all my thoughts were focused on what would make the perfect representation for this holiday season. What will be in style, unique and luxurious?
Did you know that interior design and holiday colors follow closely to fashion trends that are predicted nearly 2 years in advance?
Now that I have been working on the Autumn & Winter 2011 and 2012 collections for a couple of months, I started thinking about what my visitors might like and what colors they associate with the holidays. Let's face it, many of us have become very creative at re-using our holiday decor year after year. I even bet that some of the same colors keep popping up in creative new ways to look new and fresh. Guess what? There is absolutely nothing wrong with this practice. In fact, in a few of my upcoming posts, I will write to just that very topic but for this evening ...
Let me know what your favorite holiday colors are and which ones make you think of the holidays. Maybe it is a fond memory that translates into a color or maybe it is the smell of a wonderfully rich holiday dessert. YUM! Whatever your thoughts are on color, I am interested to hear them.
